Job Summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is passionate about helping seniors age in a setting and manner of their choosing. We believe seniors deserve the opportunity to age in a healthy, dignified environment. As a leading nationwide home care company serving seniors in more than 450 locations with nearly 14,000 employees across the United States and Canada, Cornerstone remains committed to providing the highest quality of care to those that cared for us.

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a Director, Labor & Employment to serve as a strategic legal partner supporting the company’s rapidly growing national operations. This role will focus heavily on employment counseling, workplace investigations, employment policy development, labor and employment compliance, litigation management, and proactive legal risk mitigation across a multi-state healthcare organization.

This is not a traditional litigation-heavy law firm role centered solely around adversarial legal practice. This position is designed for an attorney who enjoys the counseling, investigative, operational, and policy side of labor and employment law and is looking to partner closely with business leaders, HR, and executive leadership in a highly collaborative environment.

The Director, Labor & Employment will lead internal workplace investigations, oversee employment related legal matters, provide day-to-day employment guidance, and assist in developing scalable employment policies and procedures that support Cornerstone’s continued nationwide growth. This individual will work closely with other departments and executive leadership to ensure compliance with evolving employment laws while balancing operational practicality and employee experience.

I started working as a caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving in Mountain Home, AR, just one month ago, and I was already named Employee of the Month! They even rewarded me with a brand new lawnmower — that kind of appreciation says everything about how much this company values its team. I’m proud to be part of an organization that truly cares about both employees and clients. We deliver compassionate, personalized in-home care that helps seniors maintain their independence and dignity. From daily assistance and companionship to specialized support, the impact we make is real. Supportive management and a great team make it a joy to come to work. Highly recommend Cornerstone to families needing reliable care!

I have been working in healthcare for a long time, at my last job I didn’t have time to be there for my kids along with make a living for them as well. When I started Cornerstone I requested to work week days including day shifts and they have made that work for me. I love the fact I get to spend time with my kids now and I work normal shifts and they worked with me.
