Veteran Statistics

Only about 5% of eligible veterans utilize these benefits, often due to lack of awareness.
One-third of veterans have not accessed their earned benefits.
Why Veterans Choose Cornerstone Caregiving
Features: | Other Leading Agencies | |
|---|---|---|
Veteran-Focused Enrollment Support | We help veterans navigate and enroll in VA benefits—so they can access care at no cost. | Most agencies do not offer dedicated support for VA enrollment or benefits navigation. |
Credentialed Nationwide for VA Care | Cornerstone is credentialed across the U.S. to provide VA-funded in-home care. | Limited availability or credentialing; may only serve veterans in select regions. |
No Minimum Hours for Care | Veterans can receive up to 24/7 care with no minimum hour requirement, based on VA eligibility. | Other providers often require hourly minimums, limiting flexibility. |
Trained Caregivers with Military Sensitivity | We train our caregivers to understand the unique physical and emotional needs of veterans. | Generalized caregiver training with no veteran-specific focus. |
Fast, Personalized Onboarding | We prioritize getting veterans the care they need quickly—often in just days, not weeks. | Lengthy approval or waitlist periods are common elsewhere. |
Veteran-Family Support Programs | We provide guidance to veteran families and caregivers for respite care, stress relief, and long-term planning. | Limited to basic care offerings; little support for families of veterans. |
