On Call CNA/HHA

We’re looking for an On-Call CNA/HHA to cover the 73401, 73456 and 73030 areas.
The position would have the following requirements and compensation:

• Candidate must be a CNA or HHA.
• Must have experience with patient lifts and transfers.
• Must be available to remain on standby for the assigned weekend.
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes of being paged out.
• The on-call stipend would be $100 for the weekend for remaining available and on standby.
• If the employee is called out, they will also receive their regular hourly wage for the time worked.

This position would help ensure we have reliable coverage available when needed, particularly for clients requiring assistance with lifts and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the client or family.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and social activities.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation.

Additional Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, or related experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Must pass required background checks and meet applicable state requirements.
