Field Marketing Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Consultant to join our Home Base Field team. This is a full-time coaching role focused on developing the marketing capabilities of Operating Directors across Cornerstone’s 400+ offices nationwide. Our ODs are the heartbeat of client growth – they build referral relationships, market to the community, and drive the leads that start clients with home care. Your job is to make them exceptional at it. Using Cornerstone’s proven marketing frameworks and handbook, you will assess each OD’s habits and strategy, deliver targeted coaching and training, and hold them accountable to measurable growth over time. This role requires someone who can quickly earn trust in the field, deliver direct and effective feedback, and build a coaching cadence that creates lasting change in how our ODs market.
Responsibilities and Duties
Marketing Coaching
● Conduct regular coaching calls with ODs to evaluate their current referral base, marketing habits, and field activity
● Identify each OD’s specific growth opportunities, bad habits, and wins
● Set measurable marketing KPIs and 4-week goals with each OD; track and follow up on progress
● Tailor coaching plans to the unique market, phase, and challenges of each office
● Partner closely with Field Consultants to stay aligned on each OD’s performance and hold joint accountability
Training & Skill Development
● Deliver training across Cornerstone’s full marketing curriculum, including: ○ Ideal schedule structure and protecting marketing time
○ Route planning, marketing cadence, and anatomy of a marketing visit
○ Building and managing a referral partner hit list
○ Developing deep referral partnerships using the Cornerstone’s proven framework
○ Answering objections and winning business from competing providers
○ Follow-up strategy and client lead management
○ CRM and referral source relationship management systems
○ Creative and seasonal marketing ideas
○ Lead and facilitate Cornerstone’s Multi-Week Marketing Intensive with ODs who need a deeper reset
○ Develop and refine training materials, guides, and coaching resources over time
Performance Tracking & Reporting
● Track coaching outcomes and KPI trends across your portfolio of ODs
● Communicate patterns, wins, and areas of concern to the Senior Director of Field Operations
● Maintain records of coaching sessions, goals set, and follow-up results
● Use data to continuously improve coaching effectiveness and program design
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work in close coordination with Field Consultants, who refer ODs to coaching and hold ODs accountable week-to-week
● Participate in Weekly Rundowns and other team cadence calls to stay aligned with the field operations team
● Collaborate with Home Base and HR on broader leadership development and marketing training initiatives
● Serve as a resource for Field Consultants who need marketing guidance to better support their ODs
Required Skills
● Proven success in field sales or relationship-based marketing, preferably in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry
● Experience coaching or training others in a sales or marketing context — you know how to change behavior, not just share information
● Strong understanding of referral-based business development and what drives consistent client growth
● Clear, direct communicator who can deliver honest feedback with empathy and confidence
● Highly organized, with the ability to manage an active portfolio of OD coaching relationships
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM platforms
● Bachelor’s degree required
● Ability to pass a background check
