OVERNIGHT CAREGIVER

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a reliable, experienced, and highly compassionate Skilled Caregiver to support a memory-care and hospice client in Orrville, Ohio.

This is a 12-hour overnight shift offering consistent weekly hours. Because this client requires full hands-on care, we are looking for confident professionals who excel in providing comprehensive physical support, safe transfers, and sensitive end-of-life care.

Schedule & Compensation:

Shift: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Hiring Immediately)

Location: Orrville, OH

Pay: $16.00/hr Base | $22.50/hr Weekend Rate

What You’ll Be Doing (Full Care Responsibilities):
This role requires a caregiver who is highly comfortable providing total physical assistance and specialized overnight monitoring. Duties include:

Comprehensive Personal Care: Providing full assistance with hygiene and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including total incontinence care.

Safe Transfers & Repositioning: Executing safe mobility and transfer techniques, alongside routine overnight repositioning to maintain skin integrity and maximize client comfort.

Memory Care & Hospice Support: Navigating the specific needs of end-of-life clients, maintaining their dignity, and responding to behavioral changes with patience and redirection.

Continuous Monitoring: Remaining alert and attentive throughout the entire 12-hour overnight shift to ensure the client’s continuous safety and peace of mind.

Daily Living Support: Administering accurate medication reminders, preparing simple overnight snacks/meals if needed, and completing light housekeeping.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1+ year of experience in home care or facility care (experience with full hands-on care, hospice, and memory care is highly preferred).

Proven experience and physical confidence with safe transfer techniques and total personal care.

Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.

Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Reliable transportation to Orrville, OH.
