Job Description
We are urgently hiring a Skilled Caregiver for a part-time day shift position in Wooster, Ohio. .This role requires a professional who is experienced in handling physical mobility challenges and providing specialized cognitive support. You will work with a client who values their independence but requires dedicated, hands-on assistance with moderate memory care and mechanical transfer equipment.

Responsibilities
Advanced Transfers: Safely perform transfers utilizing a Hoyer lift and gait belt with proper body mechanics.
Mobility Support: Provide active assistance to ensure safe movement and strict fall prevention.
Moderate Memory Care: Deliver patient, cognitive support, redirection, and engagement for moderate memory loss.
Personal Care & Companionship: Assist with daily personal care needs while maintaining the client’s dignity.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in elder care, memory care, or a related skilled field.
Equipment Skills: Must have proven, hands-on experience operating a Hoyer lift and using a gait belt.
Cognitive Care Skills: Direct experience managing patients with moderate memory care needs.
Transportation: Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation are mandatory.
Background: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Attendance: High reliability required. Zero call-offs.
