Cornerstone Caregiving provides respite care and in-home senior care in Altoona, Hollidaysburg and surrounding Blair County communities. If you’re caring for a parent, spouse or other family member, there may be times when you need someone you trust to take over. Our caregivers can step in for a few hours or provide more regular help, giving you time to work, run errands or simply take a break.

Respite care is only part of what we do. Our caregivers also help older adults with bathing, dressing, preparing meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders and transportation to appointments. Every care plan is built around the person’s needs, whether that means occasional visits, overnight assistance or round-the-clock care. We have no hourly minimums and can also provide non-medical support alongside hospice care.

Our caregivers are Cornerstone employees, each with at least a year of experience. They undergo federal background checks and are bonded and insured. Families can request a male or female caregiver, and eligible veterans may qualify for care through VA benefits.
