1. The ability to provide non-clinical support services in the home allowing individuals to age in place, in the comfort of their own surroundings. Ongoing desire to provide high quality care, delivered respectfully, and supporting dignity as we build trusted partnerships with our clients and families.
2. The capital city of Charleston WV. Born and raised in West Virginia. Attended the University of Charleston.
3. West Virginia Registered Nurse with 30 yrs experience and 20 years experience in home care.
4. Too often in my years in home care, I have encountered patients who needed the type of non-clinical support services that Cornerstone Caregiving offers, but it was not something that we could provide as a Home Care agency providing skilled care. Too many times we had to discharge patients who no longer had skilled needs, but it was obvious they still had those non-clinical support needs. It was frustrating to me as a clinician that I couldn’t see the process through and meet those patient needs. Until I discovered Cornerstone and the services they offer. It was tremendous relief as a home care provider to find such a valuable resource to help fill that crucial gap in patient care.
5. I have proven myself a trusted resource both in my community and through my employment as a Registered Nurse. I have 30+ years in the healthcare field. My patients and their family’s needs have always taken priority in my practice. As a leader, I am a fearless supporter of my staff, ensuring their rights are protected. I continually fight for what is right within the healthcare system to ensure all patients ultimately receive the best care possible.
