My grandmother, Beverly, was one of the most loving and kind women you could ever meet. She was calm, consistent, and everything a child needs in a grandmother. Her Huntington’s disease caught up to her when I was in the fifth grade. I would get out of school and go straight to the nursing home to sit with her.

This reminds me that every person is someone’s son, daughter, mother, father, etc., and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

I moved to Greenville sixteen years ago and they have been some of the best years. I met my husband, went to East Carolina University, learned so much about myself, and found my love for home care.

In this season, I love learning from people who spent a life time gaining wisdom through blood, sweat, and tears. Having a positive impact on the people around me is my “why.” I strive every day to raise the standard of living for every person I get the chance to impact and there is nothing more important to me than community and family.
