My name is Candace Zydiak and I am excited to serve as the Operating Director at Cornerstone Caregiving in my hometown, Montgomery, Alabama and the surrounding River Region area.
Caring for our seniors and those most vulnerable is and has been a calling of mine for as long as I can remember. This calling has led to a deep passion to advocate for exceptional care for our aging population. It has been that passion and commitment to excellent care and support that has allowed me the privilege of working in our local community and throughout the state of Alabama in the long-term care, home health and hospice healthcare industry for over 10 years. Throughout this time, I have provided caring, compassionate and individualized support as I consulted with many families and their loved ones, each with unique circumstances requiring a vast set of needs and solutions. With me in their corner, I have been able to navigate the difficult task of accessing appropriate healthcare resources specific to the needs of those who trusted me to assist them during pivotal, challenging and often emotional times. I believe that providing empathy, compassion and truly listening to the needs, fears, concerns of individuals, meeting them where they are and then, providing individualized solutions is foundational to providing exceptional care. In an effort to be the most trusted resource for senior care and bring the most value to our community in the way of available resources and access to healthcare services for the aging population, I have made it a personal mission to be a lifelong learner and stay educated on the latest industry updates as well as continually network with the appropriate healthcare community partners. My goal and commitment for our community is to put my passion and expertise to work to guide our senior population along their healthcare journey to ensure they receive the appropriate resources and support they deserve.
