I have over 20 years in senior care, I have always loved and admired the older generation. I began my career as a social worker in long term care and quickly feel in love with my residents. I then became the marketing director where I spent many hours with patients and families to ensure the best placement for them after acute care. I found myself wanting more. I became an administrator in an assisted living facility. This is where my passion and love grew stronger for those with care needs as well as those with all forms of dementia, as my facility had a memory care unit. The number one thing my residents would say to me is “this feels like home” At Cornerstone Caregiving, I am honored to give seniors the choice to age in place.
